I really like this blouse. The color is very nice, as is the cut. It is comfortable, pleasant to the touch, does not retain sweat or odors. For now, I only wore it in winter and spring. It is resistant to abrasion, I wore a backpack on the back and it did not peel off.
Used when hiking with a backpack, which generates perspiration even in cool weather. The T-shirt absorbs without problem, and does not create a cold effect like cotton. Worn alone under a breathable windbreaker there is no heatstroke either. Also worn under a sweater this winter, it's very pleasant.
I use this top for my winter hikes, as a first layer, or as a single layer for my summer hikes in the mountains! Merino wool wicks away perspiration very well, it allows me to stay dry even in hot weather, and provides a little warmth as an underlayer in winter. The material is very soft and does not itch, in addition to being anti-odor, which allows you to wear it for several days in a row without worries during treks!

Great product, I have several pieces and use them every day. Unfortunately, the product has been "improved" and UNFORTUNATELY it is no longer the same, which is a pity.
Very good product really limits odors
Suitable for winter sports wear
Wearing properties are great for me. But I know that other people in the family find it a little scratchy. Very frequent washing with mild detergent, but a normal wash cycle at 30 degrees leads to discoloration over time. I have now ordered the wool detergent and will switch to the wool program to see if the color wears off. With merino briefs, you occasionally have to do small repairs to the elastic. They are probably sewn very tightly.

How did we improve the durability of our t-shirt?
We use a BETA-SPUN yarn structure, i.e. the merino wool fibres are coated with a fine sheath of polyamide filaments to protect them from rubbing and cuts, without affecting the properties of the wool.

Reducing the ”freezing effect”
Thanks to its structure, wool can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without giving the feeling of being damp.In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which cools the body slightly at the same time.

How do i wash my merino wool t-shirt?
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool t-shirt at 30° on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat. The Trek 500 T-shirt was tested by 9 users in the Massif des Bauges in October 2019. These testers, who are independent of Decathlon, were supported by our design teams: Maïté, our product engineer, Mélanie, our designer and myself, the product manager.For 5 days, we tested this T-shirt together in cold, snowy conditions, with some fine days of walking and a number of nights in a bed-and-breakfast or bivouac.We used this test to validate the product in use.
